Join us for the fourth workshop of ACE Saturdays 2019 - BioEscalator Business Toolkit to learn new skills with like-minded colleagues in a fun and interactive way.
This highly engaging workshop will help attendees from all disciplines to understand the specific factors that drive their current approaches to deal-making and negotiation at the individual, firm, and market-societal levels. Participants will uncover their own negotiation style with a diagnostic exercise and learn to identify, understand and incorporate factors such as ego, uncertainty, risk, and relationships in negotiations with colleagues and future partners.

Speaker
Ellen J.K. is a Harvard and Oxford alumnae and DPhil Candidate at Oxford Said Business School focused on Entrepreneur Negotiations and Deal-Making. She holds a Masters in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University and a total of seven graduate degrees. Her teaching case studies on Entrepreneur Deal-Making and Negotiations have been published by Harvard Business School Publishing and cited on the CBS Evening News and in the New York Times. Her scholarly research has been presented internationally at the Academy of Management 2016,2017,2019 and the Econometric Society 2018. She has taught negotiations to over 600 entrepreneurs, students, fellows, and executives. And she served as a Chair and panellist at the first ever 2016 Academy of Management All Academy Theme Symposium entitled: “Entrepreneur Negotiations, Building Meaningful Organizations” in Anaheim, California. Her workshops on Entrepreneur Negotiations and Deal-Making have been featured at Venturefest Oxford, Oxford Launchpad, Oxford Foundry, Oxford University Innovation, the International Law Institute, and the University of Oxford Green Templeton College.
