Interested in how a consultancy approach can help innovators in Health and Life Sciences?
Interested in how your skill set can be honed and channelled to tackle a consulting project?
Interested in exploring new employability skills, no matter what career aspirations you have?
Join us on Saturday July 14th for a taster session in consultancy with a Health and Life Sciences focus.
Spaces are limited. We strongly recommend early booking.
This half-day workshop is part of Innovation Forum Oxford’s ACE (Awareness, Creativity, Exchange) Saturdays Program and follows our sold-out Autonomous Vehicles Design Thinking Workshop and Paediatric Health Hackathon.
Continuing the theme of enhancing your problem-solving, communication and relationship-building skills, the consultancy approach provides another tool to exploit in the Health and Life Sciences innovation space.
Designed and delivered by the University of Oxford’s Entrepreneur in Residence Maurice McCartney, in partnership with Oxford Careers Service, our event will be interactive and informal with a mix of content on consulting practice, group work and role-play and will offer the opportunity to:
- Gain additional insight into innovation challenges and solution development
- Explore key employability skills such as business awareness, strategic thinking, relationship management, team working and communication
- Hear about exciting opportunities to join a more in-depth Health and Life Sciences Consultancy training program in 2018/19
We fundamentally believe that the most innovative and game-changing ideas come from having the most unique and diverse perspectives in the room. We want you to bring to the workshop your willingness to engage, whatever your background and stage of training.
No prior knowledge of consultancy or career aspirations in the field are required.
