Elena is a postdoctoral scientist at the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences, University of Oxford. Before coming to Oxford she completed her PhD as part of the Wellcome Trust PhD Programme in Cell Biology at the University of Edinburgh.
Elena has a strong interest in the role played by gene expression regulation in complex neurological disorders. She is also a keen follower of the latest advances in DNA and RNA-based gene therapies.
