Kristina Aertker

DPhil student in chemical biology
Kristina Aertker is currently a DPhil researcher in chemical biology at the University of Oxford.
Her multidisciplinary research is about investigation of the protein translation using biochemical and chemical methods. Beyond her academic research she is also engaged in the startup kindness collective for sustainable solution of laundry.
Before coming to Oxford she did a Masters in chemistry at the LMU Munich, Germany. Furthermore, she gained experience in industrial research at Roche and in management consulting at Merck. Her passion is about enabling ideas/people to make a difference, creative tools such as, design thinking and networking in life sciences and healthcare industries.
